Mindfulness.  You’ve heard that word a lot recently. In fact, it’s become a bit of a workplace buzzword.  For that reason, you secretly think it’s a bit of a fad, and mostly ignore it. Fair enough. So, did we. Until now.    Turns out, mindfulness isn’t a new idea. It dates waaaay back. But its popularity has grown a lot over the past few years as a response to the noisy, million-mile-an-hour, t...

But over time, it’s grown into so much more. Where do we even start? Well, it’s now a very legitimate platform for business. Companies today recognize that you need to engage with your audience and potential customers to maximi...

Trust. It’s the true foundation of any strong, long-lasting relationship, isn’t it? And the importance of trust is no more evident than when it comes to sales. Because If a customer gets even the slightest whiff that you aren’t totally trustworthy, you can say “sayonara” to your sale. Regardless of what you’re selling, if they don’t trust you, they won’t buy from you.

Interesting video- he states that customer service is now the main reason and factor customers want to do business with a company; however, with the technological advances in the modern day, more and more opportunities for interactive customer service are being substituted with automated A.I. systems. This video is 9 years old, so I wonder what an updated version would look like! This video was pre-Pandemic...

Taking A Sand "I do not hit. It hits all itself," Bruce Lee once said. There is a lot of wisdom hidden in that. For a very long time, I didn't defend myself against others at all. Then came a time when I learned to defend myself against others. Then I learned to defend myself against myself. And everything comes together through this opening quote. And you free yourself from others and from yourself. Because it's not just others who attack us. We attack ourselves, or we convince ourselves to attack others. Or others hit us and as a consequence we hit ourselves. And by not hitting or not striking, I protect others and myself from myself. And I protect myself from others by not hitting myself in addition after they have hit me and I have hit myself in response. At the same time, if you hit a punching bag too hard or too often, it swings back. This means: "It hits all by itself." You protect yourself from others. This art is a mastery, but one that will pay off in the long run. Because freedom from others and from yourself is the reward for taking a stand. Counting The Hits As a compassionate person, you are often the victim of bullies who want to insult, bully or, in the worst case, hit you. Or even fellow human beings who hurt you. If I counted all the hits in my life, there would be very very many. But I'm counting the hits now. All insults or even jokes that hurt me are accepted and integrated. I don't even have to like it, but I still count all the hits and keep a list. When attacks become fuel, you take the energy of the bullies and your fellow human beings and transform it into your own energy. Standing Strong I count my hits and carry them proudly. How proud i am to look at how often people hurt me and im still standing strong.

I feel like sharing three texts of mine that help me. How i remain calm is counting when others hit me. Like described in the last two texts. I wish you all the best. And here my texts. May it be useful if so.: Taking A Sand "I do not hit. It hits all itself," Bruce Lee once said. There is a lot of wisdom hidden in that. For a very long time, I didn't defend myself against others at all. Then came a time when I learned to defend myself against others. Then I learned to defend myself against myself.
